Changes from previous games
NBA 2K14 didn't change much since the previous parts of the series. Besides the aforementioned new modes, there are a few slight additions. The game introduces European league teams, although they do not have a separate mode.
Soundtrack
LeBron James has personally selected the playlist for the game. It includes mostly hip-hop music by artists such as Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, and Eminem, but also a few pop-rock songs by Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, and Phil Collins.
